It was around 6 in the afternoon, when my buddy sent me a Youtube link on Steam chat. I thought for a sec it was probably a silly video or something then I clicked on the link. It was actually an announcement of I LOVE ANISONG guest stars. I was preparing for the worst, maybe someone new will show up. Or it may be this certain idol group whom I adore recently. Whatever, I thought. Then I watched the darn video. Eir Aoi and FLOW, still not amused. I was a bit upset when it get to fripSide, why didn't they come to AFAID earlier. GARNiDELiA, the awesome DJ Kazu and LiSA followed. 'Meh, nothing new this year' that was what I thought at the time when May'n was the next one that get announced. I was getting ready to close the tab when suddenly an awfully familiar voice heard in the earphone. Boy, I wasn't prepared. I shouted my lung out, in somewhat combination of excited and fury. It was Yanagi Nagi herself in the flesh. Yanagi Nagi will perform live in AFA Singapore. Fucking hell. It's almost unreal.

Been following her steps since 2009, I have several mixed reaction for this news. I am of course really, really, really glad to see her getting the recognition she deserves. I am enjoying her works and so do the other people out there. Her fanbase is getting bigger day after day. I still remember the time when it was really hard to get ahold of her new doujin single, let alone to see her face. Good 'ol days. Now we can see her live. As big fan of her I cannot get more grateful for the event organizer. However I am also mad, because it looks like I cannot go to Singapore to attend the show even though there's still time to save money. They could've include her in AFAID anisongs artiste but nay, they didn't. Well they'd better invite her again next year to come to Indonesia. I'm sure as hell I'll go even if it costs me an arm and a leg.
The show was over, I went home with a satisfied face. Yep, Love Live was one big surprise for me last season. I was expecting a bland idol anime that only exist as a promotion for the CD and Love Live other goodies but instead I was entertained by the characters and the story. I wasn't a long time Love Live School Idol Project fan. I was introduced to this idol group when they released their fourth PV. I listened their songs from time to time but that is all. This anime actually made me want to collect Love Live merchandise. So I say this anime is a success.

I rarely seen anime where I love and adore all the characters but Love Live is sure as hell one of those anime. There is literary no character that annoys me, well maybe Nico sometimes but even she has some redeeming features that I like. The rest of cast are also great, with Nozomi as my favorite idol in the show. Another surprise for me is how the characters presented differently in anime compared to how I thought they're gonna be when I watched the singles PV. It's a nice way to keep me watching this anime every week.

As much as I want a second season to happen, I don't think the story can be stretched for another season. So unless Sunrise is going to milk this franchise further I'll be fine with how the anime ended. An half-assed written story for the second season will just ruin the miracle of this anime. Honestly I'm sad to see this anime ends because 13 weeks just passed by quickly, but every good things must come to an end.

Thank you Love Live and μ's for all the fun! I hope we will meet again someday, someday of my life!
Here's list of my favorite anime OP and ED from this year. I'd embed Youtube videos if I'm not lazy well Youtube will eventually take down those videos anyway so search it yourself if you like. So without further ado I present thee, my 2012 OP & ED picks.

OP

Aquarion EVOL OP1 - Kimi no Shinwa ~Aquarion Dai Ni Shou~ by AKINO with bless4
OSORE! I'm pumped as fuck everytime I start Aquarion EVOL thanks to this song. True that this OP doesn't hold up with its prequel legendary song (which is still one of my favorite anisong of all time, even though I don't watch that shitty show) but this is still great.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia OP - CHOIR JAIL by Suzuki Konomi
Here's another OP that I feel in love with as soon as I heard it. I can hardly believe that the singer is a 14-yo newbie. Definitely looking forward to her future works.

Jojo's Bizzare Adventure OP1 - Jojo ~Sono Chi no Sadame~ by TOMMY
Classy. This song gets better everytime I listen to it.

Nisemonogatari OP2 - marshmallow justice by Kitamura Eri
As generic as this song goes, I still like it. I-it's not like Karen is my favorite girl or anything!

Nisemonogatari OP3 - Platinum Disco by Iguchi Yuka
Possibly the best Monogatari song ever. Even better than Renai Circulation.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita OP - Real World by nano.RIPE
Honestly I never like nano.RIPE, mainly because I find the vocalist voice annoying (no offense to fans) but I can't hate this song. It's just too lovely, especially with the fairy dance animation. It's a good thing my family never once caught me dancing to the OP in my room.

Space Brothers OP1 - Feel So Moon by Unicorn
This is another song that gets better with the time. Too bad until this moment I can't find the full version anywhere, or is it because it hasn't been released yet?

Sword Art Online OP1 - crossing field by LiSA
As much as I loathe A-1 adaptation of SAO, I won't deny that the music department is very good. This OP by LiSA really captured the epic (lel) feel of the world of Aincrad.

Fate Zero OP2 - to the beginning by Kalafina
In contrast with the energetic first OP, this one has this more melancholic feel in it. Not to mention the great opening animation that follows. Also, I hate you people who say every Kalafina songs sounded same.

Hyouka OP1 - Yasashisa no Riyuu by ChouCho
I always know Choucho is a great singer ever since I first heard her in her utattemita days, but I never knew she can be this good. If I were to pick a 1st position in this list, this song will be it.

Hyouka OP2 - Mikansei Stride by Kodama Saori
The animation is awesome. 'Nuff said.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai OP - Sparkling Daydream by ZAQ
Somehow this song really fitted with the show. The animation sequence is pretty too so I don't need any reason not to include this one.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san OP - Taiyou Iwaku Moeyo Chaos by Asumi Kana, Matsuki Miyu & Ootsubo Yuka
Also, this.

Sankarea OP - Esoragoto by nano.RIPE
I said before that I don't fancy nano.RIPE but here I am picking another one of their song. The first part of the song is terrible however once you got through this song is nothing short of fantastic.

ED

Joshiraku ED - Nippon Egao Hyakkei by Momoiro Clover Tei Ichimon
This is the first song that popped in my mind when I was thinking of creating this list. I remember playing the TV rip version at least around 130 times. How can a song be this catchy? It's almost like a sin.

Aquarion EVOL ED1 - Gekkou Symphonia by AKINO & AIKI from bless4
A very relaxing song in contradiction with its hot blooded OP. I fucking love it.

Ano Natsu de Matteru ED -  Vidro Moyou by Yanagi Nagi
Nagi's first solo debut in anime. What kind of a fan am I if I don't include this one? Anyway this song is really great mind you, just as expected from our great utahime.

Jormungand ED - Ambivalentidea by Yanagi Nagi
Okay everyone can go home now because this list is getting more biased towards my obsession with Nagi.

Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse ED1 - signs ~Saku Tsukiichi Yoru~ by Kuribayashi Minami
Ah yes, even though the show itself is shit at least the ED is pretty good. Not as good as her songs from the visual novel but yeah, this one is really pleasant to listen to.

Hyouka ED2 - Kimi ni Matsuwaru Mystery by Satou Satomi & Kayano Ai
Aw yeah, KyoAni is really good when it comes to OP & ED of their shows. This is probably one of the greatest use of costume in anime ED ever.

Inu x Boku SS ED3 - sweets parade by Hanazawa Kana
Cute.

Sankarea ED - Above your hand by Annabel
Relaxing.

Space Brothers ED2 - Kokuhaku by Angela Aki
Uplifting.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita ED - Yume no Naka no Watashi no Yume by Itou Masumi
Glad to see her sing another song for anime. Her voice is so captivating, ever since I heard her in Azumanga Daioh and Haibane Renmei ED. Not to mention she's a fucking incredible composer too.

Mirai Nikki ED2 - filament by Yousei Teikoku
Call the cops because apparently I never heard of Yousei Teikoku before they appeared in Mirai Nikki OP&ED.

Wooser no Sono Higurashi ED - Love Me Gimme by Tia
One of my biggest surprise of the season, because somehow ryo composed a song for a rather unheard short anime which I assumed was irrelevant but turned out it is pretty entertaining.

Black Rock Shooter ED - Bokura no Ashiato by supercell
Guilty Crown ED2 - Kokuhaku by supercell
These two are in the same single so I decided to put it together. More songs produced by ryo made it into this list. I'm glad that ryo hasn't lost his magic touch.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou ED - Ohisama by Amesaki Annainin
Hands down the best ED of the year. Probably the best of all time too.

I probably miss some but there it is, list of my favorite OP/ED from 2012. What do you think of it? Do you have any favorite from this year? Do share in the comment below.
Art by saiki. Yep, I also mistaken his art with redjuice's.
I saw a certain post on kz Livetune fanpage about writing a blog post with the theme 'Tell the world about Livetune' so I guess I'll try my luck. Not really up for contest or anything though, just want to share my love for Livetune.

As far as my experience with Vocaloid music goes, I've heard many great songs produced by various Vocaloid producers in many genres. All of these producers are talented men and women who pour all their hearts' content into the songs they are making. Some of them managed to grab my attention from the very first time I heard those songs sung by the virtual diva Hatsune Miku. They are ryo (supercell), minato, and of course kz (Livetune). I'll talk about the former two in other time, for now I wish to tell you, the world, about Livetune.

That was in the mid year of 2009 when I sat in front of my computer, clicked some links I found on net. One of those links happened to be a download link to Vocaloid song compilations. I've already heard about this Vocaloid thing but all I knew was it just a program to make songs and I have never listened to one before.

So I proceed to download the file and unzipped it. Then I played all the songs available from the compilations. Those songs were all pretty awesome, some songs caught me in awe, such as Melt and Packaged. These songs just couldn't get out of my head for a few days. So I ventured to find more of songs like those which I just listened to. Little did I know that it was the beginning of my long journey in the realm of Vocaloid.

Other than Vocaloid songs, kz is also doing some songs for human singers. Probably the most popular collaboration is ClariS. Actually, kz was already made songs for them since they were still went by the name Alice & Clara. One song that I still remember dearly till this day is Kimi ni Yume wo Miyou. Other songs included Drop, irony and nexus.

He also contributed in a doujin album TamStar Records Collection Vol.0 which he composed two songs each sung by Yun*chi and Yanagi Nagi (God bless her). The song empty which sung by Nagi ended up in my top ten Nagi's songs post which I made back then in 2011. Livetune's first single Kocchi muite Baby/Yellow is a split single with another one of my favorite producer, ryo. Those two songs are the theme songs of 2nd Project Diva game.

At the beginning of this year, Livetune release another hit Tell Your World which was also the theme song of Google Chrome CM. The CM was phenomenal and it also served as a way to introduce Miku to the world. The song are very catchy yet it also has a deep meaning. It is probably my favorite kz song ever now. The more recent single with Miku on vocal is Weekender Girl which also very catchy. Another recent single is Transfer but this one is with Megumi Nakajima on vocal. The PV for this single is rather unique.

The things I like about kz Livetune's songs are the upbeat tunes which usually are very catchy and easy to listen. However I also enjoy the slower one. Like I said my favorite song is Tell Your World but before it was Last Night Good Night. Whenever I listen to it, the song somehow always touches something in me especially on that high notes. Tell Your World made me feel like that too. I swear there are chills up my spine when I get to that part of the song.

Well I could really go on and on about this matter however my hands are rather grew tired to type more so I'll end this post right here. My goodness, now that I look at it this post is quite long for a mere fanboy's rambling. Oh yeah, I think I'll write about other Vocaloid producers in another time. A bit music post on this blog won't hurt. Now I shall take my leave, if you excuse me.

Another Ib related post. A few days ago I discovered this beautiful MAD video. The song used in this video is Little Cry of The Abyss by sasakure.UK and sung by Asako Toki. It was included in sasakure.UK's latest album The Fantastic Reality of Aesop. It is really a beautiful song and I like it very much. If you haven't finished the game, do not watch this video because it's heavy spoiler-ish.

Damn, that was really beautiful ;_; . Now excuse me while I continue browsing pixiv for more Ib fanart (my current folder now already has 182 Ib-related pics... don't look at me with those eyes)
I actually wanted to write about a few interesting things that catch my attention lately but they ended up too short for different posts so I just crammed them here in a single post. So.. *ahem* let's start.

Watching The Princess and the Pilot
The Princess and the Pilot is... well, a nice movie. It has several cool dogfight scenes and uhh, cool airplanes. So if you like those sort of things, this movie is definitely recommended to watch.

Gyo sucks
Well to be precise, the OVA sucks balls. I just didn't feel the same way as when I read the manga. You see, the horror in the manga is pretty scary and hilarious at the same time. You know, the usual Junji Ito's black humor. The main character in the manga is that guy Tadashi, not his girlfriend. His uncle played an important role more in the manga. There is no tentacle rape in the manga. And, Kaori turned into that fish thing in the end. The manga is awesome. The OVA? Not so much. Also, the OVA needs more GASHUNK.

I wonder if ufotable made this OVA to be more plausible for the mainstream audience. Guys, can't we get a nice (and scary, boo!) horror animu for once? How about somebody makes a short anime adaptation of The Enigma of Amigara Fault? Anyone?

Starting LOGH
It is finally my time for this masterpiece. I know it will be a long and harsh journey but I swear I won't ever back down. Currently already watched 3 episodes, so that's like 107 episodes to go. Well, there was a time when I watched a hundred episodes of Naruto in a week (if only I can turn back time!) so somehow I'm sure I can pull this off.

...The main problem is, downloading all those episodes is a pain in the arse with my crappy internet connection. It sucks to live in the third world.

Smile Precure is the miracle of the universe
Before you shouted, "wait what?" Let me clarify it: yes, I watch Smile Precure. One day a devil showed up next to me and whispered to my ear, "Watch Smile Precure. It's the best thing you'll ever watch in your entire life" or something like that (o hai bro fallendevil!) so I went to the nearest download site and grabbed all the available episodes like there is no tomorrow. And I watched it. I watched it and I couldn't stop. When I came into sense again I had finished all the five available episodes I begged for more Precure. At that point I realized I've eaten the forbidden fruit. I know I shouldn't get excited when watching a cartoon for little girls. But I can't not get excited. This show had everything I love about anime.

Okay, that paragraph was so exagerrated. I love Smile Precure but I don't know how long I can last with this show. But oh well, forget about that, let's enjoy it while it lasted!

(Also, Cure Peace is the best Precure. Just sayin')

supercell new singles
supercell released two new singles, The Everlasting Guilty Crown with chelly on the vocal and Kokuhaku/Bokura no Ashiato which songs sung by koeda. While I admit I'm not really craving into their vocals, I quite like the new singles.

Originally I was on the side of "koeda-hater" as I got confuse with ryo's decision for changing nagi on the vocal with two young vocalists whose name I didn't ever heard of. My Dearest single's B-side wasn't that good (though My Dearest song itself is awesome) and Departures single is rather bland for a supercell work.

However these two singles are somehow a lot better that the previous two. Let's just say it's more appealing to my music taste. I know, the fact that nagi's era in supercell was ended is hard to overcome but here's hoping for those young 'uns koeda and chelly can follow her footsteps. Oh and speaking of nagi...

New nagi x Jun Maeda collaboration album
nagi herself is holding up well with her collaboration with Jun Maeda. Their album titled Owari no Hoshi no Love Song will be released in April. For once, I'd like to buy an original album! There are three PVs of her songs uploaded at YouTube be sure to check them!

Welp, the post seems longer than I expected. Oh well who cares anyway. No one reads this post I'm sure. Oh, and if you happen to read this post (which is unlikely) then thank you very much for taking your time and see you in the next post in this lovely blog!
Art by Sano
Today when I was busy *cough*studying*cough* while listening to my Touhou Soundtrack playlist I suddenly feel like to pick ten songs that can be categorized as my favourites. So rather than trying to understand what the hell quick sort or shell sort are, I decided to write this post instead.

10. Flowering Night
A theme fitting for a badass maid ready to kick some ass.

09. Ghostly Band ~ Phantom Ensemble
It's quite a struggle to decide between this song and stage 4 theme. In the end I choose this song, the reason is still a mystery even to me.

08. The Youkai Mountain ~ Mysterious Mountain
It's hard not to tap my foot everytime this song played. Of course, I'd die afterward.

07. Reincarnation
Oh how I love Mima's theme. It feels like I was in the middle of a very hard battle against a final boss in an RPG.

06. Alice in Wonderland
Another PC-98-era theme. What a charming tunes.

05. Necrofantasia
This song is nothing short of epic.

04. Satori Maiden ~ 3rd eye
Satori's theme that has the mysterious vibe on it.

03. Doll Judgment ~ The Girl who Played with People’s Shapes
Lovely theme.

02. Fall of Fall ~ Autumnal Waterfall
This song gives a calm atmosphere whenever I hear it. Always refreshing.

01. Border of Life
Beautiful and elegant. Perfect theme for Yuyuko.

That's it. Yeah I know, I know. Four songs from PCB, I'm obviously being biased here. It just PCB is my favourite game of all Touhou. Honestly, there are so many other good songs beside those songs I mentioned here. I'm sure everyone has their own favourites when it comes to Touhou songs. Every game has their own unique music, no wonder Touhou fanbase is one of the most fanatic fanbase in history. I could easily love Touhou just for the music. Praise ZUN for that.

Another year, another Hatsune Miku's birthday! She's got more and more popular these days, thanks to her popularity in western audience. She even held her first ever US concert several months ago. I bet it's only a matter of time until she becomes world's first virtual diva who do a world tour concert.

So yeah, I'm gonna spend a whole day listening to her songs now. Also before I forgot, Eid Mubarak to you all!

Tracklist :
01. Mixtrelle - Rayuan Pulau Kelapa
02. REDSHiFT - Tanah Airku
03. idoyklik - Kebyar Kebyar
04. PG2125 - Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa
05. ittou - Padamu Negri
06. RikkuRorra - Indonesia Pusaka
07. Atrie - Berkibarlah Benderaku
08. Nicevibes - Indonesia Jaya (Bonus Track)
Kali ini saya ingin mengenalkan band bernama little by little yang mungkin namanya masih terdengar asing di telinga anda.
Little by little adalah sebuah band beraliran rock (pop rock? I'm not sure) yang digawangi oleh duo Hideco sebagai vokalis dan Tetsuhiko sebagai komposer. Little by little adalah band Jepang pertama yang membuat saya terobsesi dengan musik-musik buatan mereka. Lagu mereka yang pertama kali saya dengarkan adalah 悲しみをやさしさに (Kanashimi wo Yasashisa ni) yang merupakan opening dari anime, coba tebak apa?

Namun setelah mendengar lagu 悲しみをやさしさに saya merasakan perasaaan aneh yang belum pernah dirasakan sebelumnya, seolah pintu hati saya terbuka kepada musik-musik Jepang lainnya.

Little by little adalah gateway drug saya ke dunia per-otakuan (meskipun saya bukan otaku). Bagi saya sendiri, little by little mungkin seperti pendahulu spiritual dari supercell.

little by little Discography

[2005.07.20] Sweet Noodle Pop

Mai (first) 3D waifu. U jelly?
End of story.

(Huh, btw sejak kapan tulisan ini jadi wall of text gini. Well, biarlah.

Bye~

I know, I know. I've missed a lot other songs, mainly from CorLeonis and binaria albums. But these are the most songs that come to my mind when I wrote this post. The truth is, I love all songs and albums that featured Nagi in them. Man, I wish I could do Top 50 Nagi's Songs so I can include all her songs :p

That's all folks.Thank you for reading this post. And once again, happy birthday to Nagi. I wish you all the best <3

Here we have the most awesome medley ever created: Kakenu Keru Nico Nico Douga II. It has a nice balance of anime songs, vocaloid, and touhou music. And all of those are presented in good 'ol 16-bit midi style. This medley is so full of win that you can't just listening to it only one time. I am a bit curious if this medley ever had a prequel because it is called 'II'. If you happen to know something about it please let me know.
Hoo-ray! Moar nagi's stuffs incoming for this spring M3 doujin music event! You can visit M3 homepage for more information.

CorLeonis - Hyouka

http://corleonis.info/hyouka.html

First we have CorLeonis (nagi's solo circle) new maxi single. It will be titled Hyouka. It consists of 5 tracks. It produced by nagi herself. There's a demo you can listen in the official site.

binaria - Nachtflug

http://binaria.net/nacht.html

Next we have the duet project of nagi and Annabel, binaria. They will be releasing a new single Nachtflug (which is from my poor German knowledge I know it translated as "Night Flight"). It consists of (sadly) only 3 tracks. You can listen to the track samples from the site.

PolyphonicBranch - The Blue Album

http://www.polyphonicbranch.com/Blue.htm

Last, here we have my favorite doujin circle, PolyphonicBranch. I love PolyphonicBranch because they always pull an all-star casts for each album. This time we have: Hana (Usa), Chata, kikuyo, Yanagi Nagi, and Yurica (Hanatan). You can listen to the sample here (of course you need to have an account). By the way there is a counterpart The Red Album which sung by several male famous nico nico singers (sadly no clear).

Some other releases that I actually care are Annabel's ignis, Corky Voce's Kizuna, and Asriel's new single

thanks to ~natsunee and the usual Nakidori no Rakuen for the info.
Out of boredom, I decided to browse some vocaloid song through the youtube and found this song:

Wow, I'm speechless. This song is really great. Please do yourself a favor and watch the PV above. You cannot NOT love this song.

Apparently this song is a collaboration between several famous vocaloidP. There are Rerulili, Kihee, Baker, LiveP, OwataP, Nem, and KagomeP. The vocaloid involved in this song are Miku, Luka, Rin&Len, GUMI, Miku Append (sweet), and Yuki. Each with their own cute character design, especially Yuki.

Oh yeah, there is also a cover of this song by some folks over Nico Nico Douga. Awesome as usual.
One of my favorite doujin circle, Voltage of Imagination has released a song called 「がんばったら」 (Ganbattara) as a way to support Japan. The song was sung by none other than Chata.

As we knew that Japan is currently in the state of emergency and need several help regarding the situation there. So if you can, please help them!

End of story.

MF link here, in case you want. This is another version (the limited edition, I guess).
