That was a pretty damn good episode. I kinda like the ending where Rikka didn't suddenly become smarter and get a good score, but instead the overall score became lower. It's more believable that way.

I cracked myself up in the divorce scene between Yumeha and Touka. Kids these days are more mature than they used to be. Also, I didn't expect Dekomori to be a prodigy kid type. Fortunately her above average brain doesn't make her to be an annoying and cocky brat but instead a fun kid you like to play with. I'm not even a pedo.

Anyway, the club is saved thanks to Yuuta's effort. At least safe for now.
Who in their right mind thinks it's a good idea to start blogging an anime series starting from episode 4? I do. I am a faithful follower of 'three episode rule', so everytime I want to judge whether any show is worth watching I watch three episodes of it first.

So yeah Chuunikoi. I've heard a lot of people talk about how bitch Nibutani in episode 4. Of course by 'a lot of people' I mean a certain anime board from a certain imageboard. They described her like she just  commited unpunished crime. They went rage or whatsoever over her behaviour. I was preparing to hate her when I started watching the episode. However things were different.

I don't find her act towards the chuunis akin to bitchness. I mean, she was a chuuni too several months ago. But now she grows up. A certain feeling of remorse and embarassment were left in its place. So it's okay if  she tries to hide her embarassing past to moves on with the flow of life. I rather find her to be more interesting in term of character when her past self as 'Mori Summer' was revealed.

Now with the cast of Chuuni characters completed, can we expect more hilarity and cuteness overload from Chuunikoi?

It is implied that the sequel takes place after True End of the first game. You know how that one ended right? It is confirmed that once again we will be assumed the role of Reiji. Some characters will make comeback as well.

So here's what I expect from the sequel:
1. Touko.
2. More bizzare murders.
3. More suffering. Guaranteed.
4. More asshole antagonists. You know I genuinely hated the antagonists from the first one with every litre of my blood. I expect the same if not more from this.
5. Touko. The one and only perfect waifu material.
6. Everyone's and their grandmas' favorite imouto Yukari is alive at the end of game. Who am I kidding.
7. English release. This is the most important. Although I can try (and of course failed) to read the japanese version with the help of software and a little piece of my brain cell, the experience is just not the same as reading the english one because of more understanding.
8. Did I mention Touko already?

The release date for Kara no Shoujo 2 is February 8th 2013. Let's hope the world won't end at December because I need to read this. For the time beings, have these teaser pictures.






YE NOT GUILTY
I've seen many negotiators in the past, they usually use all kind of dirty tricks up their sleeves to seal the deal. Enter Roger Smith, a negotiator AND a giant robot pilot. When his negotiation has gone awry, he calls a giant robot out of nowhere and punches things until everything goes the way he wants.

The Big O is what I called the bastard child of japanese anime and western cartoon tropes. It sets in fictional city which is pretty much a Film Noir New York City. Roger Smith is pretty much Bruce Wayne with giant robot. He pilots a Megadeus (name of the robot) and defeats monster of the week. When he's not busy destroying the city, he is a gentleman who works as a negotiator. There's also a deadpan android, Charlie's Angel and a guy who loves tomato. But let's just leave at that.

We have come to terms
Despite the unexplainable ending, I like this show. See, I've never once find people talking about The Big O and I generally have no idea about this show except from what I read in the first volume of the manga (I have it in my collection). All I know about it were the neo-noir tone and Dorothy, the android girl. So I was really surprised when I found it pretty enjoyable. The plot at the end escaped me but the episodic content was the cream of the crop. Oh and one more thing, the soundtrack is lovely and so is the ending song. Overall I give this anime a solid 9/10.
What happens when two male seiyuu play vidya together? A lot of laughter and dirty jokes. Especially if one of them is Tomokazu Sugita.

Tokyo Encounter is a show where two of my favorite seiyuu, Sugita and Yuuichi Nakamura, play video games together and eat snacks. They also do all kind of nonsense talk and there's a segment in between transtition of one game to another in which they compete with each other in a challenge (e.g Guess from what game the playing music is). Sometimes they invite other seiyuu as well (even girls!) to play with them.

They play all kind of consoles and games from the old ones like NeoGeo or Famicom to the more recent one as well. The genre of the games they played varies from RPG, beat 'em up, fightan, hell they even play Love Plus+ in that one episode. And Sugita seems pretty hardcore in Love Plus.

Seriously, if you like Nakamura and Sugita, and you love video games, you have to watch Tokyo Encounter.
